A-Tech Corp. wins $60M to assist Air Force Research Laboratory

A-Tech Corp. has won a $60 million contract to assist the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate in the development, evaluation and integration of new technologies.

A-Tech Corp. has won a $60 million contract to assist the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate in the development, evaluation and integration of new technologies.

A-Tech will support the directorate’s Spacecraft Technology Division, and will not only develop, evaluate and integrate new technologies, but also innovate operational concepts that will lead to improved operational systems in support of the warfighter, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2019.

Funding in the amount of $723,000 is obligated at the time of the award.

Three bids were received for this contract.
