PacStar has won a $6.2 million contract to support the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Increment 1.

Known as WIN-T, the program is the Army’s tactical communications network backbone and the largest tactical communications program in the world.

This contract expands the use of PacStar’s IQ-Core software by mobile network communications across the U.S. Army, PacStar said in a release.

PacStar’s IQ-Core software solves key warfighter communications challenges, including increasingly complex tactical communications being pushed to the edge, staffing and training budget cuts, and easing the integration of commercial off-the-shelf products to accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies, the company said.
