Northrop Grumman wins $143M contract to modernize Defense Travel System

Northrop Grumman has won a $143 million contract with the GSA to develop new capabilities for the Defense Travel System

This contract was awarded under GSA’s Alliant contract vehicle.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide hosting, operations, sustainment and development of new capabilities for the DTS system, which is an enterprise program under the Defense Logistics Agency that was developed back in 1998 by Northrop Grumman in an effort to re-engineer defense travel into a seamless, paperless, automated system,

Now, the DTS system serves as a Defense Department-wide travel management system.

Northrop Grumman will evolve the DTS infrastructure to leverage new technology, cybersecurity offerings and add new capabilities for travel as requested by the Defense Department, Northrop said in a release.
