Leidos taps new corporate CTO

Leidos has named S. Gulu Gambhir corporate chief technology officer, where he will lead the corporate office of technology while continuing his sector-level responsibilities as chief technology officer of the company’s National Security Sector.

Leidos has named S. Gulu Gambhir corporate chief technology officer, where he will lead the corporate office of technology while continuing his sector-level responsibilities as chief technology officer of the company’s National Security Sector.

Gambhir will work with line organizations in all areas related to science and technology across the company, guide investments to fuel growth and development and develop and recruit technical talent to help meet the customer’s mission, Leidos said in a release.

He joined SAIC in 2009. Before joining SAIC, Gambhir worked as director of Northrop Grumman’s science and technology operating unit of its now former TASC division, Leidos said.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia, a master’s degree in operations research and a Ph.D. in systems engineering from the George Washington University.
