TAPE acquires modeling and simulation firm

Technical and Project Engineering LLC has acquired Strong Point Research in a move to bolster its modeling and simulation and training capabilities.

The Orlando, Fla.-based Strong Point Research will bring to TAPE LLC experience in providing mission-critical systems, applications, and engineering services.

Strong Point Research will also compliment TAPE’s systems engineering expertise in the areas of management, professional and technical services, the company said.

Strong Point Research’s president, Mary Steer, will join TAPE’s executive team as vice president of Training, Modeling and Simulation, and the company itself will become a division of TAPE.
