The government shutdown has nixed the Oct. 14 due date on the $20 billion NASA SEWP V contract, and a new date won't be set until the government reopens, whenever that is.

The government shutdown claimed another victim today as NASA announced that it will set a new date for its $20 billion SEWP V contract.

The due date was Oct. 14, but because of the shutdown, the agency has nixed that date, and will set a new date after the government reopens.

“Until that time, the due date is TBD,” the agency said on its website.

In the meantime, save your questions because anyone with an answer has been furloughed along with 800,000 other government employees.

NASA will not be able to respond to emails or phone calls, the notice said.
