Raytheon wins $14M to fix helicopter radars
Raytheon has won a $14 million contract to repair infrared radar systems on H-60 series helicopters for the U.S. Navy.
Raytheon Co. has won a $14 million delivery order to repair the AN/AAS-44(V) forward looking infrared radar system for the H-60 series helicopters for the Navy.
Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2014.
Funding in the amount of $6.9 million is obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
Raytheon won a similar contract to service infrared turrets in July.
