Raytheon wins $45M contract for Patriot upgrade kits

Raytheon has won a $45 million contract to provide the United States and Kuwait with Patriot upgrade kits.

Raytheon Co. has won a $44.9 million contract to provide upgrade kits for the Patriot weapon system to the United States and Kuwait.

The Patriot weapon system is surface-to-air missile system that uses an advanced aerial interceptor missile and high performance radar systems.

This contract is part of the Foreign Military Sales program.

Work will be performed in Andover, Mass.
