Boeing group wins second UAV pact this week
Insitu Inc. has won a $7.3 million order with the Navy to deliver hardware repairs and modifications to the ScanEagle unmanned air systems owned by the government of Poland.

Insitu, a subsidiary of Boeing, yesterday won a $300 million contract to provide operational and maintenance services for the ScanEagle.
The contract with Poland is part of the Foreign Military Sales program.
Hardware repairs will be provided to air vehicles, their components and improvements to the systems' ancillary equipment, including ground control stations and launch and recovery equipment, the Defense Department said.
Work will be performed in Bingen, Wash., and is expected to be completed in September 2014.
Funding in the full amount of the contract is obligated at the time of the award, and will expire at the end of the year.
