EDO wins $22M Navy contract to support anti-mine systems

EDO Professional Services has won a $22.1 million contract modification with the Navy to support unmanned sytems for mine countermeasures.

EDO Professional Services has won a $22.1 million contract modification to help the Navy with its mine countermeasure efforts.

The company will provide technical services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific that support the center's unmanned maritime systems performing fleet mine countermeasures and force protection, the Defense Department said.

Services will include engineering, logistics, configuration management, research, depot maintenance, system administration and tactical and strategic management, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in Manama, Bahrain, and in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in July 2014.
