SAIC supports UAV ops, maintenance under $95M subcontract

SAIC has won a subcontract with Battlespace Flight Services LLC to provide operations and management services to support Air Force aerial vehicles.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $95 million subcontract with Battlespace Flight Services LLC to provide operations and management services to support unmanned aerial vehicles for the Air Force.

The contract supports the Air Combat Command Remotely Piloted Aircraft and has a one-year base, four one-year options, and one six-month option.

Battlespace Flight Services is the incumbent for the Air Force’s MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft, SAIC said in a release.

Under this subcontract, SAIC will provide operations and management maintenance of RPA communications systems including Fixed Site Satcom Terminal and Satcom Earth Terminal Subsystem ground satellite systems in support of Predator, Reaper and Global Hawk operations.
