Universal Solutions wins $85M contract for logistics services

Universal Solutions has won a contract with the Army to provide it with contractor logistics services.

Universal Solutions International has won a $85 million contract with the U.S. Army to provide contractor logistics services.

These services will be provided in support of the entire family of close combat systems.

Close combat systems could include countermine and explosive ordnance disposal, improvised explosive device defeat, area denial, combat munitions and support munitions such as demolitions and pyrotechnics, according to the Project Manager Close Combat Systems website.

Work will take place at a location to be determined with each order.

Six bids were received for this contract.
