Contract wins net CEO spot for IntelliDyne exec

On the heels of a number of new contract wins IntelliDyne has named its Chief Operating Officer Tony Crescenzo as its new CEO.

IntelliDyne has named Tony Crescenzo as its new CEO, a promotin that comes after several wins that expanded the company’s reach within the Justice, Defense and Homeland Security departments.

“While most IT contractors have spent the past year downsizing and have taken a limited view of the market, IntelliDyne has been engaged in strategically cultivating, investing, hiring and growing its lines of business to align with [the government] CIO mission and road map for success in the middle market,” said Robert Grey, IntelliDyne chairman and founder.

“I strongly believe that under Crescenzo’s leadership, IntelliDyne is poised for tremendous growth as the market shakes out and separates the long-term trusted advisors from the ad-hoc opportunists,” he added.

Crescenzo joined the company less than 24 months ago as chief operating officer.

Before IntelliDyne, he served as a partner at Achievance. He has also held senior executive positions at IMTS, Initiate Systems and Software AG.

Crescenzo also founded and served as CEO at Analysis Frameworks, and additionally served as CEO at both Illumitek Inc. and Inline Software.
