Wensinger departs from GTSI

GTSI COO, Jeremy Wensinger, who held the role when the company was public and independent, has left the firm.

GTSI Corp.’s chief operating officer, Jeremy Wensinger, has left the company.

Wensinger declined to comment on his departure, and comment was not available from GTSI.

Wensinger joined the company in October 2011 as COO when GTSI was still an independent publicly traded company.

GTSI was acquired in June 2012 by Unicom Global. Wensinger stayed on to run GTSI after CEO Sterling Phillips left the company.

Before joining GTSI, Wensinger was president of Cobham Defense Systems. He also was group president of the government communications unit of Harris Corp. He spent nearly 20 years at Harris.
