10 to battle for $315M Army Corps of Engineers contract

Work on the $315 million Army Corps of Engineering contract will focus on security and control systems.

The Army Corps of Engineers have picked 10 companies that will compete for task orders under a $315 million contract.

They will supply services that support various security and control systems.

The 10 companies are:

  • American Systems Corp.
  • BAE Systems
  • Honeywell HBS Solutions L.L.C.
  • InDyne Inc.
  • Johnson Controls BAS L.L.C.
  • M.C. Dean Inc.
  • Science Applications International Corp.
  • Siemens Government Technologies Inc.
  • Smith and Wesson Security Solutions
  • Williams Electric Co.

The contract is a firm-fixed price contract and will run through Dec. 6. 2017, according to a Defense Department announcement.

The Army Corps of Engineers solicited for bids via the Internet and received 10 proposals. The Army Corps of Engineers in Huntsville, Ala., is managing the contract.
