Harris wins $65.4M Air Force modification

Harris IT Services Corp. to provide operation, maintenance and logistics services under the Air Force's Network and Space Operations Maintenance contract.

Harris IT Services Corp. has won a $65.4 million modification to the Air Force’s Network and Space Operations Maintenance contract.

Under the contract, Harris will provide services required to operate, maintain and logistically support Air Force Space Command’s 50th Space Wing mission, according to a Defense Department announcement.

Work is to be completed by the end of September 2013, and will take place at Schriever Air Force Base, Colo.; Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.; Andersen Air Force Base, Guam; Kaena Point, Hawaii; New Boston Air Force Station, N.H.; Cape Canaveral Air Station, Fla.; Thule Air Base, Greenland; Diego Garcia Station, British Indian Ocean Territory; Ascension Island, British Atlantic Ocean Territory; and Kwajalein Atoll at Republic, Marshall Islands.
