ICF hire adds environmental science, sustainability expertise
Elaine Haemisegger’s professional experience in environmental research and policy includes air and water pollution.
ICF International Inc. has hired Elaine Haemisegger as vice president of energy, environment, and infrastructure.
Her appointment expands ICF’s expertise in the fields of environmental science, economics, climate change, and sustainability, the government consultancy and technology solutions provider said in its May 9 announcement.
Haemisegger has extensive professional experience in domestic and international environmental research and policy focused on air and water pollution, climate change, toxic substances, and environmental and regulatory economics.
She is experienced in public sector client support, strategic planning, performance measurement, program evaluation, operations, and business development.
She most recently served as vice president and deputy division manager at Abt Associates Inc., where she assisted in managing the environment and resources division.
Haemisegger holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and German from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
