8 named to $144.9M Navy command, control contract
Support services for Navy command centers include program management, technical engineering support, and data management.
Eight government contractors will provide the Navy with integrated command and control engineering and technical support services under a three-year contract that has an estimated cumulative value of $144.9 million if all options are exercised.
Each contract calls for the procurement of the support services for Navy command centers, according to a May 9 Defense Department announcement.
The services required include program management, technical engineering support, integrated logistics support, configuration and data management support, direct customer support, and security engineering support.
Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., Washington, D.C., San Diego, Norfolk, Va., and New Orleans.

The multiple award contracts were competitively procured by full and open competition via the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-Commerce Central website and the Federal Business Opportunities website, with eight offers received.
