NCI hires business development pro to guide growth

W. Greg Henson will help NCI penetrate new markets, including large strategic customer accounts.

NCI Inc. has hired W. Greg Henson as senior vice president of business development.

He will serve as the lead executive responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction across all corporate business development activities, according to the company’s May 1 announcement.

Henson will help NCI penetrate new markets, including large strategic customer accounts, in support of a corporate growth strategy.

Henson has more than 20 years of experience in business operations, program management, manufacturing, engineering, business development and leadership in the domestic and international defense and commercial sectors.

His prior experience includes serving as senior vice president and director of business development at Science Applications International Corp., where he was responsible for business development, sales and marketing, developing market and operational strategies and other tasks.

Hanson also previously served as vice president of homeland security and homeland defense operations at L-3 Communications Inc. and as vice president of business development at Harris Corp.

Henson has a bachelor's degree in business management from California Coast University.
