Agencies view Networx providers as cybersecurity assets

Networx contractors have become the reliable choice of federal agencies to buoy cybersecurity and install the Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) system under White House standards issued four years ago, reports Federal News Radio.

Jeff Mohan, executive director of General Services Administration programs for AT&T, told Federal New Radio that while it is a given that there are budget pressures, TIC are not expensive.

"Right now we've got somewhere between 15 to 20 agencies up and operational, or will be up and operational by the end of February," Mohan said in the Feb. 3 radio interview.
