Acentia adds BD exec to expand sales opportunities

Tricia Iveson, a veteran business development executive, has joined Acentia as senior vice president of business development.

She will direct all business development and corporate marketing activities, including strategic marketing planning, major program pursuits, bids and proposals, customer retention, and corporate communications, according to a Jan. 23 company announcement.

Iveson will report to Acentia CEO Todd Stottlemyer and work closely with the company’s sector executives focusing on driving organic business-development growth efforts across the public sector.

She has more than 20 years of experience having worked at a variety of IT companies, including Vistronix, SI International Inc., MicroStrategy, SAIC, Lockheed Martin Corp. and Raytheon Co.

Iveson participates in the Industry Advisory Council, TechAmerica, the Professional Services Council and the Coalition for Government Procurement. She was an elected member of the Executive Committee of IAC from 2006 to 2010.

Lochlin Partners assisted Acentia with the placement, the announcement said.
