Which is the most military-friendly Top 100 company?

URS Corp, ManTech International and Booz Allen Hamilton led the way for Washington Technology Top 100 companies making a list of top military-friendly employers published by GIJobs.com.

URS was ranked No. 5 on the list, ManTech landed at No. 6 and Booz Allen was at No. 8.

GIJobs.com bases its Top 100 Military Friendly Employers rankings on a survey that assesses a company’s long-term commitment to hiring former military, recruiting and hiring efforts, and results and retention polices for reservists and guard members called to active duty. The survey also looks at recruitment efforts for former military service personnel.

In all, 21 companies from Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 made the list.

Amazon was ranked No. 1.
