A-T Solutions tasked with anti-IED training for Marines

The $38 million task order calls for IED countermeasures training to meet the Marine Air Ground Task Force requirements.

A-T Solutions Inc. will provide anti-improvised explosive device training to the Marine Corps under a four-year, $38 million task order from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic.

The SeaPort-e task order calls for A-T Solutions to support the Marine Corps Engineer Center with training on IED countermeasures to meet the Marine Air Ground Task Force C-IED training requirements, a Dec. 6 company announcement said.

The company also will provide Marine Corps engineers with subject matter expertise to support the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Education, Personnel and Facilities process as well as be responsible for coordinating and participating in Marine Corps engineer community forums on related topics.

“In addition to having one of the largest teams of explosive ordnance disposal experts in the private sector, our organization provides real-time analysis and intelligence of IED threats, which drives relevancy for our training, products and services about enemy tactics, techniques and procedures,” said Dennis Kelly, president and CEO of A-T Solutions, in the announcement.

The Vienna, Va., company has operational experience in more than 40 counties, including Iraq and Afghanistan.
