Citrix Systems names new state, local practice leader

Citrix Systems Inc. has named Brian Cunningham managing director of Citrix Public Sector’s state and local government and education team. In this new role, he will be responsible for leading the team’s sales organization and growing the company's presence within those key sectors.

Cunningham previously served as director of strategic systems integrators at Citrix, where he was responsible for developing and managing the SI sales program and overseeing the Hewlett Packard-Citrix relationship throughout the Americas.

Before joining Citrix, he was the president of J Strategies, a strategic consulting firm providing business development and market strategy services.

Cunningham also was managing partner of the public sector at Unisys Corp. and a lead account partner and practice managing director at KPMG/BearingPoint.
