QinetiQ NA to support IT apps at GSA buildings service

QinetiQ North America has won a five-year contract that has a maximum potential value of $41 million to support the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service.

QinetiQ North America has won a five-year contract to support the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service that has a maximum potential value of $41 million.

The award calls for QinetiQ North America specifically to address the Public Buildings Service’s Occupancy and Revenue Management Applications, key components of GSA's IT platform for managing assets, providing accurate billing and forecasting information, and ensuring financial transparency and accountability, an Oct. 6 company announcement said.

Under the contract, QinetiQ NA will use its expertise to upgrade the four IT applications already in use: the Occupancy Agreement Tool, OA Billing, Rent Estimate and Appraisal Data Systems.

Specific services will include technical expertise in Java J2EE, the Windows application .NET, database work, mission support and program management including overall operations and maintenance.
