Fiscal 2011 ends with a whimper

Many government contractors are reporting that the last quarter of fiscal 2011 was slower than last year.

According to a poll by Washington Technology, 45 percent said the quarter was not as busy. But 30 percent said it was busier.

Fourteen percent said they were as busy as last year, while 10 percent said they are busy every quarter and didn’t see a difference.

The poll was taken of 230 readers.
