CSC tasked with IT support for immigration services

Computer Sciences Corp. will provide a range of IT services to the Homeland Security Department under a three-year task order that has an estimated total value of $291 million.

The task order falls under the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (Eagle) contract, the company said in an announcement Sept. 1.

The award calls for CSC to support the mission-related operations of DHS’ U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Office of Information Technology.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC services include full life-cycle support for all phases of systems engineering and development, production, software application operations, configuration management, training, service desk support, and IT security.

CSC has provided IT sustainment support for USCIS for the past 10 years, said James Sheaffer, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector, in the announcement.

CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 11 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
