CACI acquisition expands its federal cybersecurity solutions

CACI International Inc. will increase its cybersecurity offerings with the acquisition of Paradigm Holdings Inc., the parent company of Paradigm Solutions Corp. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close this fall, were not reported.

CACI announced July 26 that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire Paradigm, which provides cybersecurity and enterprise IT solutions to federal civilian agencies, the Defense Department and the intelligence community.

The company, based in Rockville, Md., has approximately 185 highly credentialed employees. Its specific offerings range from cybersecurity and software engineering to cyber operations, including network security monitoring, designing and upgrading data centers, and managing security and network operations centers, the CACI announcement states.

Key clients include the Federal Aviation Administration; the Defense Information Systems Agency; and the State, Energy and Treasury departments.

Paradigm’s revenue for calendar year 2011 is projected to be $55 million.

“The acquisition of Paradigm will increase CACI’s capability to meet our customers’ urgent requirements for secure critical infrastructures and safe, reliable operations across their enterprises,” said Paul Cofoni, CACI president and CEO, in the announcement.
