NCI completes record revenue year, sets sights on $1B

Company reports revenue of $581 million in 2010

NCI Information Systems Inc. ended its fourth quarter with record revenue, which mirrored a record revenue year in 2010.

The company tallied $581 million in revenue for 2010, compared to $469 million in 2009 for an organic revenue growth rate of 22 percent, the company reported in its earnings statement released Wednesday.

NCI also reported record fourth-quarter revenue of $171 million compared to $125 million for the fourth quarter of 2009, for a revenue growth rate of approximately 37 percent.

Net income for the quarter was $6.9 million, compared to $6.7 million for the same period in 2009.

“2010 was a very successful year for NCI in many ways,” said Charles Narang, NCI’s chairman and CEO, in the earnings statement. “Most importantly, we met our longstanding objective and crossed over the $500 million in revenue mark. With this foundation in place, we are now focused on reaching $1 billion in revenue within the next three to five years.”
