Under four newly awarded task orders, QinetiQ North America will continue to provide the Marine Corps with a broad range of life-cycle support services, including engineering, logistics, acquisition and information technology support.

The three-year task orders, which were awarded under the USMC Commercial Enterprise Omnibus support service contract, have a combined potential value of almost $80 million if all options are exercised.

The task orders will assist the Marine Corps' Communications, Intelligence and Networking Systems Product Group. One task order calls for QinetiQ North America’s Systems Engineering Group to provide acquisition, engineering, financial and logistics support to the Program Manager for Networking and Satellite Communications.

The PM NSC leads the Marine Corps’ effort in the research, development, acquisition and sustainment of networking and satellite communications equipment.

The first-year value of the task order is $13.1 million.

The company will provide a similar range of support services to the PM Tactical Communications Systems, which leads the Marine Corps’ effort in the research, development, acquisition and sustainment of tactical radios and equipment.

The first-year value of this task order is $5.5 million.

A third task order calls for providing the Product Group Director of CINS, the CINS Operations Manager, and the CINS Milestone Assessment and Technical Support teams with systems engineering, acquisition, financial, logistics and administrative management support.

This task order has a first-year value of $5.6 million.

Also, the company will provide systems acquisition support to the Program Manager of the Marine Corps Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare Systems, which is responsible for the procurement, fielding and sustainment of the systems.

The fourth task order’s first-year value is $3.1 million.

QinetiQ NA has been providing services to the Communications, Intelligence and Networking Systems Product Group since 2004, Mike Berigan, QinetiQ North America senior vice president of the Systems Engineering Sector, said in the statement.
