Computer Sciences Corp. will provide information technology services to Defense Department schools in Europe under a five-year contract that could be worth as much as $27 million.
Under the terms of the contract, CSC will provide IT management services and support – including help desk services, system and network administration, and software development – to the Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Europe (DoDDS-E) at U.S. bases and facilities.
DoDDS-E provides instruction to more than 35,000 school-age children of active duty military and civilian employees at 81 schools in Bahrain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
CSC performs the same work on another contract with DoDDS-Pacific.
The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 9 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
