Northrop to upgrade communications at immigration agency

Task order will provide Immigration and Customs Enforcement with wide-ranging technical services

Northrop Grumman Corp. will enhance information communications at Immigration and Customs Enforcement under a five-year task order that could be worth as much as $46 million.

The Decision Support Services task order calls for Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems and its team to provide the Homeland Security Department's immigration agency with wide-ranging technical services and solutions to maintain law enforcement and decision support applications.

Services include design, development, integration, implementation, maintenance and infrastructure support that will help improve the efficiency and quality of data available to ICE users, company officials said.

The task order stems from the Enterprise Architecture Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) contract. The work will take place in Fairfax, Va.

Northrop Grumman’s team includes CoSolutions, of Sterling, Va.; Highlight Technologies, of Fairfax, Va.; Morgan Borszcz Consulting, of Arlington, Va.; CISglobal, of Rockville, Md.; and MILVETS Systems Technology, of Lanham, Md.

Northrop Grumman, of Los Angeles, ranks No. 3 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
