CGI hires EPA's Molly O'Neill
O'Neill, former EPA chief information officer, joins CGI Federal as vice president
Molly O’Neill, the former chief information officer of the Environmental Protection Agency, has landed a new job as a vice president at CGI Federal.
She begins the week of Aug. 10.
Her exact role at CGI is unclear. The company did not respond to a request for comment. O’Neill also could not be reached.

She was a 2009 Fed 100 winner and an Eagle award winner. Both prizes are given by Federal Computer Week, a sister publication to Washington Technology.
“She brought new clarity to the role of architecture in agencies,” said Richard Burk, former chief architect at the Office of Management and Budget, at the time she won the FCW awards.
In 2008, she also served as chairwoman of the CIO Council’s Architecture and Infrastructure Committee. Among other tasks, she played a critical role in getting agency support for the concept of developing segmented architectures.
The job at CGI is a second chapter of sorts for O’Neill. From August 1998 to August 2002, she was a principal at American Management Systems Inc., which was acquired by CGI in 2004.
CGI is ranked No. 78 on Washington Technology's 2009 Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
