Crouch to lead strategic development for QinetiQ
Top exec to focus on technology, security and intelligence
QinetiQ North America has named J.D. Crouch II executive vice president for strategic development, focusing on mission-critical technology, security services, intelligence and counter intelligence, and systems engineering solutions for the federal government.
Crouch replaces Stephen Cambone, who was recently appointed president of QinetiQ North America’s Mission Solutions Group in Fairfax, Va.
Couch’s “extensive knowledge of strategy and negotiation, and his ability to promote existing business opportunities will undoubtedly enhance our ability to successfully deliver our world-class products and services to our customers,” said Duane Andrews, chief executive officer of QinetiQ North America.
Before joining QinetiQ, Crouch held senior-level positions in the Defense and State departments and the executive branch. He still serves on several government advisory boards that include the Defense Policy Board.
Crouch holds a Ph.D., Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California.
QinetiQ North America, of McLean, Va., ranks No. 34 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
