Fed CIO Kundra lays out tech agenda

Speaking before a packed house at the FOSE trade show in Washington today, the new federal chief information officer Vivek Kundra described the four pillars of his tech agenda.

His priorities will be driven by:
  • A need for transparency;
  • Helping the public engage with the government; 
  • Lowering the cost of government operations; and 
  • Fostering innovation.
