Davis rumored to join Deloitte Consulting

Rep. Tom Davis is rumored to be joining Deloitte Consulting to help out in the federal practice area as a nonlobbyist when he retires from Congress at the end of this session, reports NextGov.

The Republican congressman from Virginia's 11th Congressional District has had talks with several well-known law and lobbying firms as well as corporate offices. Davis, who is the ranking member and former chairman of what is now the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has a firm grasp on complex procurement statutes and practices.
