Motorola grabs AirDefense

Motorola Inc. bought AirDefense Inc., an Atlanta
developer of wireless local-area network security
products and services. Financial terms were not
disclosed.

The buy will add wireless intrusion-prevention
solutions to Motorola's network security offerings.

Lockheed Martin to buy Aculight

Lockheed Martin Corp. is buying Aculight Corp., a
developer of defense and aerospace laser systems.
Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Bothell, Wash., company will become a unit
of Lockheed Martin's Maritime Systems and
Sensors business in Akron, Ohio.

Raytheon buys Telemus Solutions

Raytheon Co. bought Telemus Solutions Inc., a
Falls Church, Va., provider of information security,
intelligence and technical services to defense,
intelligence and other federal customers. Financial
terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition is Raytheon's latest step toward
building a complete information security portfolio,
officials at the Waltham, Mass., company said.

Boeing adds Insitu to portfolio

Boeing Co. bought Insitu Inc., which builds
unmanned aerial systems used for intelligence,
reconnaissance and surveillance. Financial terms
were not disclosed.

The acquisition is part of the Chicago aerospace
giant's strategy to aggressively grow its presence in
the unmanned systems market. Insitu, of Bingen,
Wash., will be a subsidiary of St. Louis-based Boeing
Integrated Defense Systems' Military Aircraft unit.

Cubic completes Omega transaction

Cubic Corp. has finished its acquisition of Omega
Training Group Inc. Financial terms were not
disclosed.

Omega, based in Columbus, Ga., supplies training,
testing, analysis, logistics and staffing services
to the Army. The company will become part of San
Diego-based Cubic's Mission Support Business
Unit.
