Computer-aided dispatching

The Missouri Office of Administration wants a contractor
to provide computer-aided
dispatching for the
state's highway patrol. A
request for proposals is expected in August.

The contractor must provide application software,
server hardware, implementation and support
services for nine communications centers.
The system will be located in Jefferson City, Mo.
Integrated tax system
Massachusetts' Executive Office for Administration
and Finance wants a contractor to replace its integrated
tax system. A request for proposals is
expected in July.

The contractor must furnish tax processing, data
management and case management.

The contractor must
also meet Web-based workflow
and data warehouse requirements.

Medicaid surveillance components

Massachusetts' Executive Office of Health and
Human Services wants a contractor to provide surveillance
and utilization review
components for the state's
Medicaid Management
Information System. A request for proposals is
expected in July.

The components help state officials combat
waste, fraud and abuse by reviewing providers'
claims for possible incorrect payments.

Driver's license system

The North Carolina Transportation Department
wants a contractor to provide a digital driver's
license system. A request for
proposals is expected in

The state plans to conduct test implementations
of each component of the new system. The contractor
must develop, integrate and test the components
and be able to handle full implementation.

These opportunities are provided by Federal
Sources Inc., a market research firm in McLean, Va.
