Electronic case management

The Illinois Department of Human Services
might want a contractor to provide an electronic
case management
system for its
Bureau of Child Care
and Development. A request for proposals
is expected in late 2008.

A new electronic case management system
would improve the bureau's ability to
carry out its mission of providing low-income
working families with resources and information
on quality, affordable child care.

Statewide staffing agreements

The Kentucky Administrative Services Office
might want contractors to provide statewide
information technology support services.
A request for proposals is expected in
mid-2008.

Kentucky established statewide IT
staffing contracts in
2003 under the heading
system design and
development. The existing agreements are
set to expire Oct. 1.

Customer relationship management

Henrico County, Va., might want a contractor
to provide a customer
relationship
management system.

A request for proposals is expected in
mid-2008.

Although the CRM system might eventually
support all 36 departments in the
county, an initial deployment might involve
only three to five departments.

The contractor would provide a 311
call center, Web portal and management
systems.
