Tyler gets ERP work in Mo. county

Tyler Technologies Inc. will install financial management and human resources software for St. Louis County, Mo., under a new contract.

Tyler Technologies Inc. will install financial management and human resources software for St. Louis County, Mo., under a $4.6 million contract.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tyler will implement its Munis financial management solution to help the county improve business operations and workflow, the company said.

The contract is part of a county government initiative to move from a 25-year-old mainframe system to an enterprise resource planning approach that integrates data and processes in a unified, Web-enabled system for county workers to use.

St. Louis County has more than one million residents and a government workforce of 4,000 employees.

Tyler, of Dallas, offers information management solutions and services to local governments.
