PSC, CSA officially merge

The announced merger of trade groups Professional Services Council and the Contract Services Association of America has begun.

PSC President Stan Soloway is now president and chief executive officer, and PSC Senior Vice President Alan Chvotkin is the executive vice president and counsel.

WidePoint buys iSYS

WidePoint Corp., of Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., will acquire iSYS LLC, an advanced information technology solutions provider to the federal government. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

ISYS, of McLean, Va., provides critical IT services to a broad range of government customers.

EMC to acquire Document Sciences

EMC Corp. will acquire document-management software developer Document Sciences Corp. for $85 million in cash. EMC plans to operate Document Sciences as a business unit within its Content Management and Archiving division.

ManTech closes McDonald Bradley buy

ManTech International Inc. completed its $76.5 million acquisition of McDonald Bradley Inc., a provider of service-oriented architecture in addition to data interoperability and information assurance services and solutions. With McDonald Bradley, Fairfax, Va.-based ManTech gets a position on the Homeland Security Department's Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions contract.

Liquidity Services to buy GovDeals

Liquidity Services Inc., of Washington, plans to buy Information Management Specialists Inc. and its GovDeals Inc. unit for about $10 million cash.

GovDeals is an online auction marketplace for the sale of surplus and confiscated materials.
