Bids and proposals

Data reporting system

The Colorado Education Department wants a contractor to provide a statewide data reporting system. A request for proposals is expected early this year.

The contractor will be required to install a system that can produce annual accountability reports describing each school's academic performance, safety and discipline incidents, student/teacher ratio, and teacher qualifications.

Case management system

The Virginia Department for the Aging wants a contractor to provide a case management system that will improve the delivery of social services to senior citizens. An RFP is expected in mid-2008.

The contractor will be required to develop and implement case management tools and user-friendly Web interfaces for senior citizens
as part of the state's "No Wrong Door" program.

E-mail archive services

The Wyoming Administration and Information Department wants a contractor to provide e-mail archiving services. An RFP is expected late this year.

The contractor will be required to supply external hosting for an electronic-message archiving system that would handle about half of the state's e-mail addresses.

These opportunities are compiled by Input Inc., a market research firm based in Reston, Va. (www.input.com).
