ManTech to buy McDonald Bradley

ManTech International Corp. of Fairfax, Va.,
will buy McDonald Bradley Inc. for $76.5
million in an all-cash deal.
McDonald Bradley's work on the
Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for
Leading Edge Solutions contract
focuses on the Defense and
Homeland Security departments
and U.S. intelligence agencies.
The company is based in
Herndon, Va.

Accenture to buy Maxim

Accenture LLP is adding to its
defense consulting practice with the
planned acquisition of Maxim Systems Inc. of
San Diego. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Accenture of Reston, Va., will add about 135 employees
through the deal. The acquisition will help Accenture
extend its reach into the command, control,
communications, intelligence, surveillance
and reconnaissance market, a company
spokesman said.

VT Group grabs AEPCO

VT Group PLC of Southampton,
England, plans to buy Advanced
Engineering and Planning Corp.
of Gaithersburg, Md., for $70 million,
with another $5 million contingent
on future performance.

AEPCO manages life cycle support
programs for U.S. Army helicopters.
The acquisition will expand VT
Group's U.S. presence and improves its margins,
the company said. The deal is expected to
close by January.
