Welfare management system

The New York State Temporary and Disability
Assistance Office wants a contractor
to implement the front
end of a human services modernization
project. A request
for proposals is expected in January.

Eligibility support services

The Texas Health and Human Services
Commission is looking for a
contractor to provide eligibility
support and document processing
services. An RFP is
expected in February.

The contractor will be required to provide call
center and related services to support a number
of eligibility programs, such as children's health
insurance, Medicaid, food stamps, and temporary
assistance to needy families.

Public safety system

The Fire Authority in Orange County, Calif., is
seeking a contractor to provide a computer-aided
dispatch (CAD) system. An RFP
is expected in January.

The contractor will be
required to design, plan,
upgrade and replace the county's existing CAD
system. The county may decide to include requirements
for incident reporting and integrated fire
prevention systems in the same solicitation.
