Six win SPAWAR contract modifications

Six government contractors have been awarded contracts by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego for modification work on command and control, communications, computers and intelligence systems.

FGM is based in Reston, Va. The other five companies are based in San Diego.

Six government contractors have been awarded contracts by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego for modification work on command and control, communications, computers and intelligence systems (C4I).

The SPAWAR awards have a total value of more that $120 million.

The C4I modification awards, which are all follow-on tasks to previously awarded indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, involve engineering for new and existing C4I software applications and database management systems. The Navy expects to complete the work by 2011.

The award recipients and the value of the awards are:

  • $22.8 million to SAIC
  • $21.3 million to FGM Inc.
  • $20.9 million to Forward Slope Inc.
  • $20.6 million to Maxim Systems Inc.
  • $19.1 million to Intelesis Technologies Corp.
  • $17.1 million to Sys Technologies Inc.
