Appointments

Mark Ronald joined Veritas Capital
Partners, of New York, as a special
adviser to evaluate potential acquisitions
and investments for the privateequity
firm. Ronald, most recently
chairman and chief executive officer
of BAE Systems Inc., also serves on
the boards of Dyncorp International
Inc., Alliant Techsystems Inc. and
Cobham plc.

Stephen Cambone joined QinetiQ
North America, a wholly owned subsidiary
of QinetiQ Ltd. of McLean,
Va., as senior vice president for strategy.
From 2003 to 2006, Cambone
was the first undersecretary of
Defense for intelligence, providing
policy guidance to and responsible
for the development and oversight of
Defense Department intelligence programs
and budgets.

Christopher Yau, after a year as an
intern at Goodman and Co. LLP, of
Rockville, Md., joined the accounting
and advisory firm as an associate.
Greg Caires joined BAE Systems
Inc., of Rockville, Md., as director of
public relations. Caires most recently
was communications manager for the
US101 helicopter program at
Lockheed Martin Corp., and is a lieutenant
in the Navy Reserve, where he
serves as public affairs officer with
the U.S. 5th Fleet in Manama,
Bahrain.

Michael Schutte joined American
Systems Corp., of Chantilly, Va., as
vice president at the custom engineering,
development and integration
directorate in Lorton, Va. Schutte was
president and co-founder of Rising
Edge Technologies Inc.

John Sapp joined information technology
services provider SeNet
International Corp., of Fairfax, Va., as
director of business development.

Paul Wright joined real property
decision analytics developer Vista
Technology Services Inc., of Herndon,
Va., as managing director at the company's
new San Antonio office. Wright
most recently was an associate at
Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., specializing
in civil engineering projects for the
military.

Debra Hill joined Level 3
Communications Inc., of Broomfield,
Colo., as vice president of sales for
government markets in the company's
Herndon, Va., office. Hill most recently
was with Verizon Business/MCI.

Bill Lavelle joined Insightix Ltd. of
Pearl River, N.Y., as vice president of
sales in the Americas. Lavelle most
recently was sales vice president at
Check Point Software Technologies
Ltd.

Michael Mestrovich, president and
chief executive officer at Unlimited
New Dimensions LLC, of Dumfries,
Va., and president and chairman of
the board of the Federation for
Identity and Cross Credentialing
Systems, was named to the federal
advisory board of directors for Data
Systems Analysts Inc. of Fairfax, Va.

Bill Chadwick, Dave Pauling and
Michael Kibler joined the Aerospace
Industries Association of Arlington,
Va. Chadwick, the organization's new
research director, most recently was
with the International Trade
Commission. Pauling, who mostrecently was assistant deputy undersecretary
of Defense for materiel
readiness and maintenance policy, is
the new senior director of technical
operations. New Director of
Membership Services Kibler comes to
AIR from the Healthcare Distribution
Management Association, where he
was vice president of member relations
and meetings.

Denny Groh joined Engineering
Services Network Inc. of Arlington,
Va., as vice president of federal outsourcing.
Groh most recently was
executive director of business development
for federal civilian programs
at RS Information Systems Inc.

Peter Cuviello and Carl Freeman
joined the public services unit at
BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Va., as
senior strategists to help drive mission-
related services at the Defense
Department. Cuviello, who retired as
a lieutenant general and Army chief
information officer, most recently was
business strategies vice president at
Lockheed Martin Corp.'s Savi Group.
Freeman, a retired major general in
the Army, most recently was an
adjunct professor at the Joint Special
Operations University and a private
consultant.

William Brown Jr. joined Sentek
Consulting Inc., of San Diego, as
the company's explosive ordnance
disposal training practice manager.
He will spearhead all related
training contracts for the defense
contractor.

Bob Phillips joined IAP Worldwide
Services Inc. of Cape Canaveral, Fla.,
as vice president of Navy, Marine
Corps and civilian agency facilities
management programs. Phillips
recently retired from the Navy as a
rear admiral and commander of the
Naval Construction Forces Command.

Gary Mears, Paul Barboza and Jim
Pietrocini were named to executive
positions at TechTeam Government
Solutions Inc. of Chantilly, Va., as
part of TechTeam's post-acquisition
reorganization. Mears, previously vice
president for business development
at NewVectors LLC, which TechTeam
acquired in May, was named senior
vice president of business development.

Paul Barboza, previously vice
president of business development at
TechTeam Government Solutions, was
promoted to vice president of the
company's federal solutions division.
Pietrocini, previously CEO of R.L.
Phillips Inc., which TechTeam
acquired in August, was named vice
president of business development.

Neale Bird joined Avineon Inc. of
Alexandria, Va., as program manager
of the company's Total Information
Processing Support Services (TIPSS-
3) contract supporting the Internal
Revenue Service. Bird most recently
was director of civilian programs at
Pragmatics Inc.

Dave Reynolds joined
MorganFranklin Corp. of McLean,
Va., as the company's first U.K. advisory
board member, after its expansion
into the United Kingdom with
new subsidiary MorganFranklin Ltd.
Reynolds most recently was director
of internal audit and regulatory compliance
at British Telecom plc.

Teresa Carlson, Brian Roach and Suzanne Behrens were named general
managers at the U.S. public-sector
division at Microsoft Corp. of
Redmond, Wash. Carlson, formerly
U.S. director of strategy and operations,
now leads the U.S. government
civilian agencies and international
global organizations. Roach left the
position of manager at the company's
federal health care organization to
take over leading Microsoft's Defense
Department business unit. Behrens,
most recently public-sector marketing
director, will oversee Microsoft's
public-sector marketing and communications
efforts, breadth sales,
and the organization's citizenship
efforts.

Amr ElSawy joined nonprofit science,
technology and strategy group
Noblis Inc. of Falls Church, Va., as
president and CEO. ElSawy succeeds
Lydia Waters Thomas, who retired
after 11 years in the job. ElSawy is a
board member and standards vice
president at the American Institute for
Aeronautics and Astronautics and former
director at the Federal Aviation
Administration's Federally Funded
Research and Development Center.

Michael Kalogeropoulos joined
SGIS of San Diego as division vice
president of intelligence solutions at
the company's Washington Office.
Kalogeropoulos comes to the company
after 30 years at the CIA.

Dean Fox, Claudia Kennedy and Jan
Gaudio joined the advisory board of
Atlanta-based VT Griffin Services Inc.,
a member of VT Group Plc of
London. Fox, a former Air Force major
general, was the Air Force Civil
Engineer. Kennedy was an Army lieutenant
general and deputy chief of
staff for intelligence, the first and
only woman to receive this flag rank
in the Army. Gaudio, a former Navy
rear admiral, was the 84th
Commandant of Naval District
Washington.

Jonquil Prophet and Todd Leskoski
joined Force 3 Inc. of Crofton, Md.,
as account managers. Prophet will
work with the company's federal civilian
sector, and Leskoski will handle
its Defense Department programs.

Ruth Bowers joined BAE Systems
Inc. of Rockville, Md., as General
Services Administration program vice
president at the company's customer
solutions operating group. Bowers
had been senior vice president at
Apptis Inc.'s governmentwide
acquisition contract programs
organization.

Audrey Sites joined Guident
Technologies Inc. of Herndon, Va.,
as director of human capital. Sites
most recently was a principal
at Headstrong Inc., supporting
federal, state and local government
programs.

Todd Tarby joined the government
services sector at KMS Solutions LLC
in Vienna, Va., as vice president of
intelligence programs and account
manager for the Defense Intelligence
Agency. Tarby most recently was a
business development manager at
L-3 Communications Inc.

Jeff Sessions joined Red River
Computer Co.'s Washington federal
sales division as vice president of
federal sales. Before coming to the Lebanon, N.H., company, Sessions
was vice president of federal sales
at Government Micro Resources
Inc.

Dan Whaite joined Ironworks
Consulting of Tysons Corner, Va., as
a business development executive.
Whaite most recently oversaw
Washington-area commercial channel
relationships at EMC Corp.

Tom Kreidler, president of Liquid
Computing Federal Inc., James
Muldoon, CEO of Metcor Inc. and a
U.S. Air Force veteran, and Dendy
Young, managing partner of McLean
Capital LLC, and former CEO and
chairman of GTSI Corp., were named
to the board of directors at Liquid
Computing Federal, a subsidiary of
Liquid Computing Inc. of Saint-
Eustache, Quebec.

At American Systems Corp.,
Chantilly, Va.: Mary Voy to training
operations directorate vice president
and director, under the company's
managed services strategic lead
training operations directorate.

At Boeing Co.: Scott Fancher to
vice president and general manager
of the company's St. Louis-based
Missile Defense Systems division. He
replaces Patrick Shanahan, who has
taken the lead on the company's 787
Dreamliner program.

Darryl Davis to president of the
company's St. Louis-based Advanced
Systems for Integrated Defense
Systems division.
