Albert Calland III joined CACI International Inc., of Arlington, Va., as executive vice president of security and intelligence integration. Calland, a former vice admiral in the Navy and deputy director of the CIA, most recently was deputy director of strategic operational planning at the National Counterterrorism Center.Kevin Boyle joined Vangent Inc., of Arlington, Va., as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. Boyle most recently was assistant general counsel at General Dynamics Corp.'s information technology business unit following its 2006 acquisition of Anteon International Corp.Michael Rauschen joined defense technology consultancy Gestalt LLC, of Camden, N.J., as vice president of Army programs, charged with developing new business with the Army. Rauschen was in the Army Reserves for 13 years with Army Special Forces.Manuel De Ponte was named senior vice president of the national systems group at El Segundo, Calif.-based Aerospace Corp.'s regional office in Chantilly, Va. Ponte succeeds Wanda Austin, who will become president and chief executive officer at the company Jan. 1. Ponte most recently was general manager of the company's military satellite communications division.Amy Pennington, Susan Bogucki and David Hagy joined Force 3 Inc., of Crofton, Md. Pennington, the new marketing manager for the IT network solutions provider, most recently was client services manager at the Washington Nationals baseball team. Bogucki and Hagy are the company's new account managers for federal civilian agencies.Richard Colven joined IT market research firm Input Inc., of Reston, Va., as vice president of executive programs. Colven is a former partner in the federal consulting practice at Computer Sciences Corp.Karen Meyer-Cain joined Apptis Inc., of Chantilly, Va., as senior vice president of human resources. Meyer-Cain most recently was executive vice president of human resources at Institutional Shareholder Services Inc.Tony Fuller and Peter Lauria, partners of accounting and consulting firm Beers and Cutler pllc, of Washington, were named to succeed Mary Karen Wills and lead the firm's consulting practice. Fuller formerly provided consulting services to government contractors, federal agencies and commercial clients. Lauria advised clients on business information systems.George Odden joined investment bank Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin Inc., of Los Angeles, as director of the company's aerospace, defense and government group, focusing on aerospace investment banking. Odden most recently was vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Honeywell Inc.Denzil Samuels joined Northrop Grumman Corp.'s IT sector in McLean, Va., as sector vice president of global business development, charged with overseeing all business development activities across the IT sector. Before joining Northrop Grumman, Samuels was vice president and general manager of global managed services at Avaya Inc.Bill Maguire joined business process management solution provider HandySoft Global Corp., of Vienna, Va., as chief operating officer. As COO, Maguire will be responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, product management, researchand development, and professional services. A former rear admiral in the Navy, Maguire most recently was regional logistics director at Coca-Cola Co.Jennifer Aleknavage and Suzanne Linville joined Welz and Weisel Communications, of Fairfax, Va. Aleknavage, now director of the public relations firm, most recently was communications manager at LexisNexis Inc. Linville, who joined the company as an account manager, had been supporting small tech start-ups at 104 West Partners.Joseph Delaney joined Datastrip Inc., of Exton, Pa., as sales and marketing vice president at the mobile identification and verification technology provider. Delaney most recently was commercial IT service operating vice president at Northrop Grumman IT's commercial, state and local solutions group.
