The 2007 SemperComm Gala raised funds May 10 for the SemperComm Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization that provides communication and entertainment equipment, software and services to remote overseas U.S. military bases.

The 2007 SemperComm Gala raised funds May 10 for the SemperComm Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization that provides communication and entertainment equipment, software, and services to remote overseas U.S. military bases.

Country singer Chely Wright provided the entertainment for the event, and actress Karri Turner was the emcee. Dana Gioia, chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, attended as a special guest.



Pictured above, Candy (left) and John Harris with Jackie Niedermayer. John Harris is director of support systems at Boeing Co. Boeing was the largest sponsor of the 2007 SemperComm Gala, donating $25,000 to the event.
