People: New fed biz chiefs have familiar faces

John Toups
Executive changes in the top tier of three companies shouldn't confuse federal customers ? they probably already have the people on speed dial.
The board of directors of GTSI Corp. has elected fellow board member
John Toups as its new chairman, succeeding Dendy Young, who is retiring. Toups was president and chief executive officer of PRC Inc.
Dell Inc.'s new vice president of federal civilian sales is
Max Peterson, former public-sector executive at Commerce One and most recently vice president of federal sales at CDW Government Inc.
Timothy Conway was named senior vice president and managing director of federal solutions at Affiliated Computer Services Inc.'s government solutions group. Feds will remember Conway from IBM Corp. as partner of defense sales and business development or, previously, as head of the company's Navy and Marine Corps business unit.
