Two named to lead contracting, intel efforts

Dale Meyerrose

Two appointees in congressional hot-button areas ? contracting and information sharing ? have plenty of relevant experience.

Paul Hsu, the new associate administrator of the Small Business Administration's Office of Government Contracting and Business Development, founded three successful small businesses that received contracts from the federal government.

Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell named Dale Meyerrose the Intelligence Community Information Sharing executive and chairman of the newly launched Information Sharing Steering Committee.

Meyerrose, a former lieutenant general in the Air Force and current associate DNI and chief information officer, was tapped to "move the intelligence community beyond the 'need to share' philosophy and more to a 'responsibility to
provide,' " the DNI said.
